Another lovely gift today! Some Japanese 'salty' caramel. (Though the salt is from France, apparently.) Chewy, buttery and not too sweet; nice :)

M Karuchā: I’m a publicist with a personal and professional interest in comparisons between Europe and East Asia. Actually, I am mixed-race (European and East Asian) so that’s probably why on a personal front. Professionally too, I feel there is a lot we can learn from each other. This is a scrapbook of cultural observations from my conversations and travels (often written on modes of world public transport). Please enjoy and interact! Karuchā baruchā is a play on the Japanese katakana for ‘culture vulture’ (informal English meaning a big fan of culture) :)
