Singapore: Good Friday (for shopping)

Yes, it's a public holiday here, too. Which I didn't realise and was left with a day to fill.. so, in true affluent-Asian style, I went shopping. And this is what I found! I actually got stuck in Takashimaya's food-hall (where there was a Hokkaido spring food fair) as I couldn't find the exit and the crush made it hard to switch direction. ION (another Orchard Road mega-mall) was almost as bad. An interesting experience. But not for the highly-strung.

The famous Singapore credo of "Work, Shop, Eat, Repeat.. " seems fairly true so far. But in the evening I went for a run and some shadow-boxing in the park, and there were quite a few of us doing that too.
